1. Remember your hat doesn’t make the outfit, it simply enhances it. So, if you’re wearing a scruff look, don’t expect a hat to make you look like a style icon. A hat should be paired with clean, crisp and well tailored clothes.
2. When it comes to hats, choose one that suits your face. Those with round faces should avoid narrow-brimmed hats, heart-shaped faces should avoid wide-brims and long faces should avoid hats with height. Try on a few to see what works suits you the best.
3. Choose a hat according to the occasion. While there are hats for every function, it’s best to wear yours for special occasions or the weekend. And if you’re using a hat to cover up a bald spot, please don’t.
