Sarah Michelle Gellar dons Cowboy Hat to Western-themed party in LA

There’s no cutting corners in this famous family for Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Sarah Michelle Gellar was invited to a Western themed party on Saturday, and she took the costume factor very seriously. The 37-year-old Cruel Intentions actress decked herself out in cowboy-centric attire as she took her two children Charlotte, four, and Rocky, 21 months, out on the sunny Los Angeles day.
Daisy Dukes were the order of the day, with Sarah putting her toned legs on show in the short denim fabric. She teamed them with serious looking brown leather cowboy boots which almost reached her knees, as well as a chic straw cowboy hat. To seal the deal, the She’s All That star slipped on a cream coloured cropped lace jacket, making sure her country and western theme was properly taken care of.
She styled her short blonde tresses in two braids hidden beneath the hat, and shielded her eyes with aviator style sunglasses for her family day out. Two oversized bags were necessary for the outing, probably filled with essential items for taking care of her two young children. Sarah’s daughter was sure to join in on the dress-up fun too, dressing up in brown cowboy boots to match her famous mother and a cute denim dress, with a cowboy hat of her own hanging around her neck.
Charlotte was in charge of carrying the gift, which was a large box wrapped in silver and purple paper. Sarah clutched her youngest child, Rocky, in her arms as they strolled into the party. Her husband – and her children’s father – 38-year-old Freddie Prinze Jr did not appear to have joined the family for the costume party.
Sarah surely has had some time on her hands after The Crazy Ones, which also starred Robin Williams, was cancelled by CBS in May. She and Freddie met in 2007 while they were filming teen horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer, and subsequently worked on Scooby Doo together too. The pair were married in 2002 in a ceremony that took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
