Vintage Portis Hats The Royalist Swans Down Finish Tru-Form Black Pork Pie Fedora Hat

The Royalist is a stylish pork pie fedora fashioned by hand. The Swans Down Finish is soft and supple on this quality fur felt with Tru-Form inside band for added comfort. The hat is finished with a grosgrain hat band and fully lined with original satin lining.

Classic vintage pork pie style hat in a luxurious black that is both dressy and casual.
Note: There is a 1″ spot on the right side outer brim with some damage as show in picture 4.

Portis Hats – Portis Brothers Hat Co.

Portis Hats was a manufacturer of hats from 1914 until the late 1960’s. Started by Portis siblings Isadore, Arnold, Theodore, Lyon and Henry the Portis Brothers Hat Co. was based in Chicago.

The quality of their hats was very good and they operated under the the name “Portis Brothers” and “Portis Hats” and were taken over by Stevens Hats in the late 1960’s
